How will this information be used?
Observations collected here contribute to a dataset intended for training image processing algorithms. This dataset will enable development of automated processing routines to identify signs of volcanic activity. The features collected with each observation may change over time as new models are considered.
What do you mean by "display volcanic activity"?
Something towards does the image reasonably affirm that more than a background-level of volcanic activity is occurring. Each image should be considered individually, it's anticipated that a camera may have extended periods where every image displays signs of volcanic activity. That’s okay.
Steaming visible due to met conditions? Resuspended ash? Maybe plume maybe cloud? Other? Viewers choice. The intent of the dataset is to train models to assist in routine image review. How can the computer be most helpful?
